Suki loved Ahza, but if there was a part of the region she loved most, it was the rolling dunes down south. She was well aware she was nearly playing into fox stereotypes by hoping around the sand and getting lost within the swirling, windswept sand, but she didn't really care. The desert there always hid a treasure or two for her to encounter, and no one could take that away from her. Granted, not that anyone really tried; her family was more than supportive, even after 'the incident' a while back left her visibly touched by mana corruption. Nothing but kind words from them every time the fox like kittom got hit by a bout of wanderlust, and off she went.

Somehow... she tended to end up within Ahza, time and time again. She always returned to the sandy dunes, and while other regions had lovely beaches, it wasn't the water she felt particularly attracted to, she thought. Perhaps it had something to do with the bones that poked like statements out of the sand, sometimes big, large enough to capture the imagination, or perhaps it had to do with the duality of the land, and how the north was green, with storms that could be heard and seen from a distance while the south remain arid.

Perhaps it had nothing to do with that and it was as simple as the fact Suki felt she simply 'fit in', among the sand, the reds and the golds of the landscape she kept on returning to. She would never get bored, or tired of this place, she figured, and once she some day reached maturity, Suki knew she would be settling here, among the sand where she felt the most safe. After all, her family would remain just a small journey away.
