Submission (#383) Approved

Misri was traveling to Silveil with his mom Zuri for important “guild business,” she won’t say to him. The little kittom is used to her way of work and was just happy to get out of Palu’au. Being in Silveil was like another world that he would explore around the place endlessly. While Zuri was busy, he and his tiny pomu Forte managed to sneak away and went exploring the nightlight of Silveil City. “Let's see what they got, Forte!” He grins as he hurries along with his tiny pomu.

One strange thing is that there was no festival this year. It was one of the things Misri gets to do with his mom and see all the pretty stands and lanterns of the Starfall Faire. This year, however, things were every day. There were normal items on sale from the shops, people doing the normal stuff, and it did make Misri sad that it didn’t happen. “Maybe we missed it somehow… and I saved up my allowances too for it.” He frowned as he walks along the glowing streets and sighs, turning back around the other way. “Come on, Forte, we should get back before mom gets upset.” “Pomu…” The little black pomu sighs as well along with him, hiding back in his shadow as they were on their way back.

“What is that?!”

He stopped when a shop keeper exclaimed loudly as he points up to the sky. Misri turned back around to look up into the ever night skies. Among all the bioluminescent glow, the streaks of colorful glowing lights stood out as it was hurling straight down to the ground. “Wow…” Misri was starstruck, as ironic as it sounds, but he was mesmerized on what sort of shooting star it was because it was bright and colorful. He then made a mad dash through the busy streets, ducking under carts and pushing through the crowd towards the light. “Excuse me! Sorry! I’m just trying… to get through!” The little kittom tries to be polite, but he was too curious for his own good to find out more about the colorful lights.

“Where did it go?” There was a small opening from the crowd where he stopped to look around. The city was too large for the little kittom to get out of, but the next best thing he could do is to try and get to higher ground. He looks around to find a way and walks down one alley where he saw a stack of crates with glowing fruit and used it as his steps to climb up. Misri cautiously climbs up and makes his way to the highest stacked crate while making sure he won’t topple down. “Hnn…. Oh.” When he reached on top, he saw there was a ladder hidden behind the crates. He picked up one of the glowing produce to see it better and stares at it with a deadpan gaze. “Why would they leave this right in front of the ladder?” It made him shook his head and sighs, but now he has a better way to get up.

With one paw moving after another, he carefully ascends the ladder to be on top of a building. It wasn’t the tallest in the area, but it was still the highest he can be with a good view of the night sky. His eyes widen and his tail wags around happily, seeing more colorful bright lights dancing across the sky. “Oh wow… I really want see one of them up close.” It would be hard to find the location in the city, but he settled with the brilliant view of the mysterious lights.
