Enmir was an interesting place, to say the least. Enveloped in darkness with some fireflies flying around here and there as some form of light. Vines draped across branches of trees that just seemed to twist and bend in various directions.

Due to how dark this place was she often times had no idea where she was even going, her own fault for being out so late. She didn’t really expect it to be so… confusing. Nor to smell as strong as it did.

Swamps, who knew? Not her apparently. She nearly fell into the murky waters thinking it was grass. You couldn’t really blame her, it was extremely dark and well… the algae looked very much so like grass. It was called algae right?

She definitely was not the biggest fan of this place, there was just something about stepping on moss that felt horrible. She’d hear it squelch under her paws the closer it was to the waters, sending her jumping back in disgust. 

Definitely didn’t find a very coherent path so far either, it was completely overgrown, lots of plants she had no idea could survive such an ecosystem. 

She could just about make out some sort of opening in the trees up ahead, but she wasn’t too sure.

Getting closer, avoiding as much of the moss as she could, she could see a clearing, a good bit of water and not that many trees that she could make out in front of her. The grass that was growing around seemed to be a little different every now and again. Relieved to just not be stuck in complete darkness she starts moving forward again, the loud chirping of bugs was sort of relaxing.

Maybe this place wasn’t as bad as she thought it was?

She looks down, a little confused, tapping the grass she had just gotten to up close, watching how it kind of wobbles. Huh, strange. Didn’t know it did that. She steps on it, panicking when it begins to move a bit too much with each step. It was like some weird water bed-

Splash.

You know what, she takes back what she said, this place was worse.
