Sweet ending

The wrapping was beautiful, a complete masterpiece.

To Enaga, Miuna was not only her boss in the hot springs business, but she also felt intense admiration for her, and so she would serve her in whatever she needed as long as she allowed her to. Besides, you could say... they were friends. They both felt at peace with each other's company and did not need many words to understand each other. Countless nights the two had shared a bath while snacking under the moonlight.

She had also given her a shelter, a place to call home.
In short, it seemed immeasurable what he owed her.

So, what was the least she could do, after this heavy season of miasma, than to give her a little something.

In the end, the hot springs were always full: when it was not the season of heavy miasma, the elnin came to relax and celebrate... And during the miasma season, they came to find balance and healing. In that, Miuna exceeded. Enaga knew of no one who used water to heal and balance energy the way she did. It was almost magical, as if the hot springs were her element, as if her anima was connected in a special way with water...

Enaga had asked her about her abilities once, without insisting too much, but Miuna just smiled and used to say something along the lines of " it' s just a channeler...". Which left her with a lot of questions, but she had never been able to get any more out of her.

She added a small note in her stylized cursive calligraphy: "Love, Enaga". Now it was ready. Wrapped in a beautiful blue paper and stream patterns, with a navy-blue ribbon tied around it beautifully, she surely couldn't have imagined what was inside! Nothing less than some delicacies from a very remote village in Kyendi. Enaga knew that Miuna had never explored much of the region where she lived, and that she always shared whatever sweets she had with her workers and never kept any... So it was about time she got a taste of sweetness.

Mind you, Enaga had gone through an agony to find such delicacies. They were made with the softest, fluffiest rice dough in the world, and the filling was a taro paste that the village elnin grew themselves. They were true master bakers. Their products were wrapped in lotus blossoms, proof that one of their cooks must have been influenced by the neighboring region with its thousands of flowers. But accessing the village was especially difficult: you had to cross an area so full of wet moss that it seemed impossible to move forward, you slipped at every step! Enaga took special care, but still ended up full of bruises before she got the hang of it. Next it was necessary to cross some ruins that were a complete labyrinth. Enaga had to camp because it was getting dark and she did not dare to move forward. And the next morning, according to the indications of the locals, she had to find a set of waterfalls and cross them. She wasn't sure if it was a bad joke, but in the end, amidst the fog, she managed to find the waterfalls and... indeed, they hid the entrance to the village. Everyone was very kind to her and offered her tea and snacks as soon as she arrived. They were not at all surprised to see an outsider, apparently Enaga was simply not used to wandering the Kyendi terrain. Perhaps she spent too much time in the hot springs to realize that Kyendi was not only mystical, but also wild.
