Today a flower druid all the way from Faerindell came to visit us during class time. The miasma is lifting so travel is safer again. Here's where I would like to go and visit..."

Gracing lovely pink sakura blooms and the eternal touch of spring, to call Faerindell the stuff of fairy tales might be something of an understatement. While capturing the imaginations of Kittoms and adult Elnin alike comes naturally to the region, only some places within Faerindell go out of their way to wholeheartedly embrace that delightful charm.

One of those towns is the whimsically named Sugarshire. One of the older Elnin settlements in the fabled region, Sugarshire was officially recognized as a distinguished historical district, and the residents have pulled all the stops to delight visitors who wander through their beloved town.

From walkway and building brickwork textures resembling crisp baked gingerbread and precisely piped frosting, to carefully selected cultivars of colorful landscape flowers almost tempting enough to taste, everything in Sugarshire embraces the sweets and treats theme. Even the town shrubs and trees bear the appearance of pink spun sugar and soft serve ice cream, the latter of which remains an unusual sight outside human settlements and their magitech devices.

Within the center of town lies the pride and joy of Sugarshire, the Sweet Dreams Well. Town tradition holds that instead of making a generic wish, a visitor should toss in a coin, then whisper to the well specifically what was lost and hoped to be regained.

Sometimes, if that individual is lucky, they wake some future morning with their lost item in hand or finding themselves in contact with their lost loved one, no matter how long the span of years. Those who have experienced this joyful phenomenon have no explanation how this could possibly be, other than perhaps a stroke of magic.

Once serving as the town's water source many generations past, the Sweet Dreams Well currently runs dry, but this classical well was repurposed into a beloved meeting destination. To blend with the town's sugary ambiance, the preexisting wood and brick was painstakingly painted in shades of sweet rose and candied violet, textured with similar royal icing work as important civic buildings.

With no need to draw water, and to keep both the structure and curious Kittoms safe, the old winch system was removed, replacing the well bucket with a modest planter. Currently filled with cheerful cake poppies and dotted with a rainbow of miniature sprinkleblooms, competition runs fierce each year among Sugarshire florists to decorate this prized town centerpiece.

Rumors also persist that something lives under the well proper, perhaps within an underground cave or system of tunnels unearthed once the water table dried up. If so, as rumors tend to breathe life into fanciful stories, such a secretive creature would be amazingly wealthy in coin given the popularity of the site.

Given the unfathomable depths of the well, no one, not even the greediest sneak-thief from Silveil City, seems terribly eager to try and investigate.
