“Daddy?” Mentioned Adina to Melon as they were walking along a sandy beach feeling the thick and hot, salty ocean breeze hit they soft fur.

“Hey, are you listening” Grumped Adina at Melon.

“Hurry it up we don’t want to be late to our playdate with Lacie now do we?” Melon gave a side-eye to Adina who has never met Lacie.

“That’s what am trying to speak with you about, but you keep ignoring me, wah” Cries Adina trying to get faster with every step.

She keeps getting distracted by the wonderful sandy beach with shells, crabs, and the waves of the ocean-going back and forth. ‘It is nice to just stop by and see what goes on in nature.’ Thought Adina to herself as she noticed that Melon was even further away from her.

Melon in a rushing panic decided to grab Adina by the scruff and throw her onto his head “Hang on kid, we are going full speed”

In one gentle motion Adina lands on his very soft head and grabs on, Melon feels her weight on his head and starts to gallop at a speed that Adina has never noticed before. It was as if she was flying through the thick ocean breeze and not getting any sand on her fur.

“Listen, I know you have not met Lacie but there is nothing to worry about, you will both have lots of fun in the sun, building sandcastles, running after hermit crabs, swimming in that nice and gorgeous salty water that today’s weather has blessed us with.” He stares at the Miasma Protection charms as he dashes through.

“O.K. good looks like they are still working pretty well, now you and Lacie should be safe as long as you stay within the parameters you hear, DO NOT GO TOO FAR” He glares at her as they arrive at their destination.

“Rood Daddy, I am not Bennedict, I do not wander about, I like to stay near the others thank you”  with a very grumpy face that turned very in awe within seconds as she noticed a human waving their direction.

She had very fair skin and the most gorgeous pink-colored hair, it glistened in the beachy sun as if she added glitter to her hair. The hot sun hit her just perfectly underneath the Coconut Tree.

“Melon you made it, you had some pretty good pace going, I have not seen you run that fast since you were a kitten” Melon blushed as he gets Adina down from his head.

“Nice to see you again Lacie, this is my daughter Adina; Adina THIS is Lacie” and he gives a big smile as he puts his paw over Adina in a very gentle loving matter.

“H-Hi Lacie, it is very nice to meet you” with a blush on her face she gets right next to Lacie’s foot who is covered in sand and tiny little shells.

“Alright little one, what would you like to do? I got molds and tools to build a nice Sand Sculpture, I also got some inner tubes we can chill on the ocean and take some sun” She very neatly points to everything she has near her sunbathing umbrella and shell studded towel

Asina’s tummy grumbles for some food, her face turns to beat red at such a loud sound “D-do you have any food or snacks, I am so hungry.”

“You are in luck I just did some fishing and I got some fish cooking and some raw, wish would you like it?” in a very happy tone Lacie mentioned to Adina.

Adina’s face lit up “O.M.G. YAY FISH… could I get raw fish please? I LOVE ME SOME RAW FISH” as she does her excited little feet dance like the floor is too hot but her face says ‘yes’.

“Melon there is some of your favorite on the fire feel free to grab some” Melon hurries to get his favorite fish, he likes extra charcoal-ie lines.

Melon goes off and munches on his fish, he looks over to and in somewhat of a louder voice says “Lacie I am going to chill underneath the umbrella, this heat and my new acquired mane do not mix well, thank you so much for the fish though it is fantastic”

Adina eats up her raw fish drooling all over the place. Lacie starts getting the sand sculpting items ready to be used.

“Alright little one since you just ate, let’s do some sand sculpting, don’t need you to be getting any cramps while we are swimming now do we”

The rest of the afternoon they spent learning about each other and how much they love the beach. Adina learned how Lacie, Melon, and her mom, Nisha all met each other. It was both a scary and joyful story. Lacie mentioned a stormy night and two kittoms (Nisha and Melon) hiding underneath a very big tree, trying to get away from the lighting (which is something that Nisha is terrified of) Melon was in front of her, trying to ‘keep them safe’ although they were not safe not in the least. Lacie happen to be walking by with a protective Cloak to keep the lighting away from her, she felt like there was going to be lighting hitting the two kits. So she used her speed charm to increase her speed and cover the two kits before the lighting could hit them. It was very terrifying. Poor Nisha fainted and Melon got so scared he was a huge little puffball of anxiety. They laughed at this part of the story because he now has all sorts of extra fur so he would be an even bigger puff ball of anxiety. Ever since then, they have all been very good friends and they lived together for a very long time.

A while after, just before the sunset, Lacie set up a big bonfire to keep them warm. She also started making more fish for them to eat. Although she had a hidden item to share with everyone. She went out and purchased some oysters for them to enjoy with a little bit of lemon juice.

They all shared a delicious treat and Lacie and Adina became very close. Melon was off somewhere in sleepy land dreaming of chemicals he can make.  It was all a good trip and worth it to make more friends.
