Palu'Au Memories

Riley can't help but remember the soft sands and whispering waves of the Palu'Au islands as she lays in bed late at night. She can feel the sand between her toes and the sun on her face. Palm trees waving and bird calls from over head. As thoughts of the islands dance in her mind she drifts off to sleep.

Rolling waves of crystalline blue waters, colorful fish swimming in the clear waters. Boats passing every now and then in the distance. Beautiful warm sands beneath one's paws. Beaches that go on for miles and a sun that warms one's soul. A hammock rocks in the wind tied between two palm trees. Lush greenery as one looks into the islands. Colorful shells wash up upon the beaches as waves of foamy white touch the shores.

A group of wooden buildings sit further up the beach. A vacation home perhaps? Surf boards lining some of the walls along with fishing nets near a set of boats. A rocky outcropping extending out into the surf with people fishing off of them in the distance. Looking down at a sound some crabs scuttle past to hide in the sand nearby. Looking up as sea birds call out to their nests within the greenery.

Moving past the buildings and further up the beach beautiful tropical flowers are scattered across the sand as kits try to make crowns from them. Smiling and walking past some odd clicking noises sound from the waves. Looking out at them dolphins play, flipping and riding the waves. One can't help but smile at the sight of the beauty of it all.

Walking up to a smooth rock out cropping and climbing up carefully tide pools are scattered across. Looking into one a beautiful star fish and even a small octopus can be seen. Observing more of the pool a few sea urchins can be seen as well. Standing up and moving to the edge of the rocks one takes a seat looking out over the waves as the day comes to an end. As the sun sets it makes the horizon glow and the waves turn into brilliant oranges and golds. How wonderful it is here in Palu'Au.
