Her next delivery sent her through the land of misty mountains and floating isles. Along the dilapidated path she walked, she could tell there were signs of civilization, but years of weathering and erosion have chipped away at the foundation of the road. But a road it still was, and until its days come to an end there will be those who walk along its winding path through the mountains and forests.

If the information she received was correct, she would avoid a great deal of denser parts of the forest that can be a danger to travelers unfamiliar with the landscape. Tales tell of remnants of ancient civilizations hidden amongst the dense fauna that covers much of this land. Scores of adventurers often delved into the various ruins searching for. As curious as she was, she thought best to just stick to the path. The land was ancient, and she would want to stir up trouble for it or herself lest she suddenly lose her way and become lost.

Tilting her head, she could see the silhouette cast by the Eldertree that called this region its home. Its long and slender branches made way to a stream of what she could only guess were its leaves. The murmur of a waterfall cascading down into a stream made its way to her ears. She imagined the water flowing between the rocks and sweeping away the smaller stones that often litter the banks. The sounds combined with the scenery made for a tranquil journey. 

She arrived at a bridge, a bit worse for wear but reasonably stable from what she could determine. Beside it, she found the waterfall surrounded by a ring of trees flowing downward into a plateau that branched off into several streams. A surreal sight, and one she would look forward to once her business was concluded. Perhaps this time her deliveries will take her to the gamed floating isles, where the islands are held up by mystical crystals of amber.
