The upcoming seasons in the winter, when the miasma fog thickened especially around the numerous regions of Eyre meant that any upcoming travel would have to be put on hold for the young kit. Citron craved one last bit of adventure, especially since he'll have to reside in whatever region he's traveling to for the months to come. Wasn't there a request for those to donate supplies, regional crops, anything ? Maybe this is his golden chance to explore for the last time before he remain stagnant. Fortunately, for convenience, he could go towards the orchard that his family had for their business. Perhaps, snag a couple of tropical fruits and use those to cross. Oranges, grapefruits, any type of citrus seems to be the right choice, especially if he must remain indoors. They'd have many uses and bring that winter comfort, especially in a place like Strynhalde. He catches sight of the orchard, with the massive elder palm just a mile away. It's beautiful, and personally he believes it's why so many come to Palu'au.

Happily skipping through the lemongrass, Citron trudges towards the massive orange tree and lowers his little body, preparing to charge into the thick stump. To some, the humidity on this island was far too dreadful to handle, but to the boy it was home. This place could never be admired by the varying tourists the same way that the natives do! The kittoms feet kick, sending his body towards the citrus tree and ramming his head into the base. He falls backwards, eyes spinning with his eyes unable to focus and everything around him appearing doubled. Fortunately, the result is plenty of oranges dropping down to his feet, enough to fill an entire burlap sack! He's dawdled long enough, shaking his head left and right to refocus on his task at hand. Electing to nudge all of them forward to roll down the hill and save himself the extra effort. The orange kit scurries down and fetches the sack atop the wooden table, scooping the fruit up and tossing it over his shoulder. Before he continues to his destination, a pair of bright mint green eyes catch his in attention, and his sister prances over towards him. There's a smile on her face, gesturing towards the burlap sack slung across his back.

"Citron, what'cha got there in the bag?"

Jelany looms over her brother, raising her eyebrows at the contents of his bag. He drops it, tugging at the strings to reveal the oranges inside. His sister could only pout in response, knowing full well what this meant. Her ears drop, eyes widening to plead with him. It's been a couple of months with him gone, and now he was planning on leaving soon? When will they be able to pocket seashells off the shoreline and make little matching necklaces? She still has hers on her nightstand, a reminder of her brother. It's a bit unfair in her eyes as well, that he would much rather be hundred of miles away to visit different areas, rather than be at home with his loving family. Had they driven him away somehow? She doesn't know, especially since all of that overflowing love gave her the passion to pick up where her parents would leave off.

"Don't go again! You barely visit home anymore!!"

Citron huffs to himself, slinging an arm over her shoulders to pull his sister in close for a hug. His forehead presses to her temple, something that all of his family members did to show affection.

"Look, Jel, I gotta get out one last time before the miasma thickens. There's so many places I haven't explored yet, like Strynhalde! If anything, why not come with me?"

His younger sister rolls her eyes, playfully shoving him off of her before looking up to the sky. Would she like to be out and about, exploring ? Possibly, but her place was here, in Palu'au, picking up her family's business. It's surprising that the siblings get along so well, given Citron's true nature towards vacationers. He was far too rude, and crass. Even with that baby-doll stare that could take him anywhere, eventually he'd slip up and that mask of his would fall right off. She loves her brother, dearly, but hopes that with all of this adventuring, someone would come and knock some sense into him... Or possibly influence a change of heart. Jelany has hope for him too, especially since she's witnessed first hand the kindness that could come from him. If only he had the desire,

"I'm sorry, Citron, but I belong here. After all, once you become a great traveler and our parents are long gone, who will manage their business? Someone's gotta do it, and I don't mind that I won't see much of our world."

Her passiveness, it's the one thing he never quite understood. Why be so complacent in life, when there was so much to explore? Lugging the bag of oranges over his tiny frame once more, he nods a goodbye to his kin and wanders off to the post where they were accepting all types of materials. Puffing his chest out a tad in pride, the young boy grins, as if it was impressive for him to carry all of that weight. He tugs, pulling it onto the wagon and resting it in the corner, while he walks towards the front and claims a spot to ride off into Strynhalde.
