And now, for your daily exploration hub knowhow, it's time for....  'REGIONS N'EYRE AND FAR'

In this series, we'll explore several parts of the driest region in the Eyre, Zevija! First up, The Grand Bazaar of Hadaven - your one stop shop till you drop!

Zevija! The land of deserts, volcanoes and geysers! One of the three most northern lands of the Eyre, it's home to one of the largest cities, this side of the oasis, Hadaven. A buzzing flourishing city, a jewel of brightly coloured canopies and storefronts and at its heart the Grand Bazaar of Hadaven!  A crowded stretch of the city, starting at the entrance and ending straight at the heart of Hadaven, it is a sight to behold for those who've never been to the capital city. Each shop is decorated out front with a large canopy, brightly coloured and often with a logo or series of symbols defining the shop. The large fabrics fend off the heat from the sunlight above while offering a creative and exciting way to showcase the storefront! Let's interview one of the local shop owners,
"Excuse me! Could you tell us what you specialise in?"
"Ah, of course! Our store specialises in bejewelled ceramics."
"Bejewelled... ceramics?" The storefront owner picks up a ceramic vase the colour of the shifting sands.
"This here, is one of our specialties, each vase is carefully crafted, broken, and then pieced back together with a special golden glue and local gemstones from one of the many mines around! Each gem is hand sanded to fit as a part of the vase, and then polished to a high sheen. Here, take a look!" As the owner holds out the ceramic vase, the finely polished details can be seen, the golden cracks vein the pottery, with carefully placed highlights of bright pink gems smooth to the touch.
"Woah, this is impressive!"
"Yes, we also sell several other wares like bowls, plates and other items, so please take your time." the owner smiles and puts the vase back on the pedestal.

Aside from these unusual crafts, the marketplace is home to some delicious treats, and the smells of spices and exotic foods can be smelt from the otherside of town. Some of the local delicacies we tried include, Gemstone Parfait, a dessert made in a glass carved completely from crystal and imbued with anima to keep the dessert fresh and cold! Smooth Rock Cakes, not so much a sweet-cake, but more a staple of the region. It has a dense bread-like consistency inside and a smooth surface outside, polished to a high sheen, like so many of Zevija's crafts are! Oh! Here comes a young girl with her father eating something that looks very exotic!
"Excuse me! If you could be so bold, could you tell us what you're eating?" The black and white kittom with exotic flowery and oceanic markings stops, and bounds over to the camera and host to be interviewed.
"Sure! It's a local snack called Honeycomb Window Cookies! They sell it at that shop over there with the green and white frills and bee logo! My dad's a friend of the owner. Supposedly legend has it that these cookies are based off of a sacred holy rock that has a gemstone inlaid into it, that sacred rock can see into your anima and tell you if the elnin in front of you is lying or not! They say that if the person is lying when you peer through the gemstone you'll see a red aura emanating from them and a ghost will come ou-" the young kittom says, gesturing wildly. Her father quickly covers her mouth with a paw.
"I'm sorry, my daughter loves to tell tall tales. These cookies are actually based on the traditional houses of Hadaven. They say that the nobility often had elaborate rock houses with windows often made of a single sheaf of gemstone sanded very fine to create an almost transparent view outside. The common folk took inspiration from seeing into another elnin's life, and decided to make these Honeycomb Window Cookies."
"Wow, what a story! Well, that's all for today folks! So, if you're ever in Zevija feel free to stop by the Grand Bazaar of Hadaven and take a gander at the stores! You never know what exciting finds you'll discover!"
