He was walking down the street when he definitely thought he saw a lot of smoke coming out of the window of the little house where her friend lived, so she ran to peek through the door.

- Hey, hey, are you okay?! What's going on?!

The white kittom was coughing as she removed the ruined food from the freshly turned off oven.

- Yes! Yes! I just got a little lost and burned everything!!

Levi sighed, for a moment he had really worried. He began to open the rest of the windows to air out the kitchen as he watched whatever her friend was trying to prepare was now a completely blackish mass.

- What do you mean, a little off the beaten track? It almost looks like you went off to do something else while you were cooking... you have to be careful in the kitchen. What were you trying to do...?

- Is it so little noticeable? Cake balls in the shape of bioluminescent jellyfish?

- Aha... that sounds like something to watch out for. Do you still have any ingredients left? We can make them together.

The little kittom slowly shook her head.

- The truth is that I have no ingredients left, they were quite rare to get, it took me a whole week to find everything in the stalls....

Thea was touched to hear him and nodded almost in tears.

And as soon as they finished fixing the mess in the kitchen, they went out into the ever-night streets illuminated by lanterns. The fact that it was always at night really helped to see activity in the streets at any time of the day.

They quickly approached a street full of little stalls with glass displays on the streets full of food that smelled great. Surprisingly, many of them also offered mushrooms reminiscent of those you might go picking in the forest, although it was not advisable to do so without a detailed guide.

- One last favor -she said, crossing his paws in supplication- Please buy some cupcakes from this stand, we can eat them while we cook. As a thank you.

And so it was that on the way back, while they were preparing their attempt at the cake balls again, they also prepared a little table with all the sweets from the stand. They certainly looked delicious and tasted as good as they looked. Perhaps the fact that the oven in the meantime also gave off a really nice aroma helped them to never forget those summer snacks.
