"I've got so much to show you, Tallulah!” Aurelio puffed out his chest, beckoning his friend over.

"This happens to be Hadaven. It's pretty much the hub of the region. Nin trade and live their lives here, and generally this is where we'll be staying" he mentioned, allowing his friend to take in the sights and sounds of the town. Stalls were bustling, and kittoms below were ducking and diving through the hot streets. It seems a lot busier than their previous home in Strynhalde. The red fabrics that were used throughout the streets were both pleasant and appropriate for the climate of the place. There was a buzz of delight in the air; it felt like an active community of family and traders alike, though from time to time raised voices from below could be heard – whether it was a trader yelling at a common thief, or a carer looking for their charge, the two couldn't tell.

"The wilds of Zevija aren't safe for everyone, but since you're an adventurer in training like me, I suppose I'll show you all the sights outside the hustle and bustle, If you like the red here, you should see the Elder Tree. The leaves look like they're on fire the red on them is so intense! And of course if that isn't hot enough for you there's actual hot springs that'll burn your tail off, and of course the the main attraction of this place – volcanoes! Do not recommend diving into one of those!”

His friend raised an eyebrow cheekily, knowing his daring nature

“Not that I've tried” Aurelio admitted, offended anyone would suggest he was that dumb. “I don't normally get close enough to the actual lava, since it is way too hot for most Elnin! I doubt our thick fur and manes even allow us to get anywhere close. I've thought about shaving mine down to get more adventuring in, but I guess our natural habitat is pretty much the opposite of this.”

“I heard there's crystal mines here too?” his fellow kittom queried.

“YEAH. They're like my favourite place. Probably the coolest place in Zevija, in both senses of the word. Technically they're gemstones, not crystal, but just as pretty. Every colour under the sun is down there, and there's even gems on the ceiling of the mine, it is really something to behold I tell you. Plus don't even get me started on some of the funky gem-infused fish and fauna you can find down there. Super fun to go rock-pooling down there.

“Then what are we waiting for?” his childhood friend smiled in response.

Zevija really was a region that had a lot going for it, and she couldn't wait to see it all.
