While visiting Kyendi, Crispin and Nemo decided to study the aquatic creatures that inhabit Kyendi and the Sunshard Isles. The two kittoms stumbled upon a pond and waited quietly to see if any critters would emerge. After a few minutes, little green faces began to peek through the water’s surface. Frogs! But these weren’t any ordinary frogs. Without warning, a winged creature swooped from the treetops. It was a batfrog!

Batfrogs are unique amphibians that have evolved to grow bat-like wings so they can travel freely between the Sunshard Isles.
