Her adventures had been long at times, making her miss her birthplace. She had moved to Bellmoril and had taken quite a liking to Il’durahn and its surroundings. But part of her misses Faerindell and it’s beautiful blooming flowers all year round. The soft pink florals visited her in her dreams at times. Her last adventurer had made her want to return there more than ever. Her scar was slowly healing from a wound but it couldn’t help but bring back those scary memories. Even her mentor had noticed she was out of place and didn’t seem like a happy kittom anymore.

“Beatrix, why don’t you go visit home for a bit ? It might help refresh your mind and banish the bad memories” Jayson has suggested to her as his words rang in the back of her mind as she prepared for a journey back to her birthplace. Bixy had decided to go visit the eldertree of the region as she had only seen it once a very long time ago but she couldn’t help and feel the sense of peace it had brought her.

Elenion was as beautiful as she remembered but being there made her feel like it was even more enchanting.. Her mind and body became so calm as she closed her eyes and smelled the floral scent that was surrounding her. She then heard a small voice in the background, opening her eyes she saw the most harmonious Elnin Bixy had ever set her eyes on. She had heard stories of her from a lot of elnins but seeing her felt different. There truly was something peaceful and calm about the Sylvan Queen that made any kittom forget about their worries. Tears slowly flowed from her eyes as her nightmares seemed to melt away. For the first time in a long time Beatrix felt at peace. Maybe it was from being home or maybe it was from the presence of the Royal Elnin.

She spoke a bit to the Queen, realizing why she was here and addressing her. It appeared Jayce wasn’t always out to put her in danger and from what she gathered he did feel terrible about the last trip he had sent her on. He had heard from Elnins what Sunleth was capable of and thought maybe it might help Bix get back to her normal self. “ A nap ? I just need to take a nap?” She looked at Sunleth slightly confused as she nodded to her words. Thinking to herself this was the strangest thing and that maybe it was a trap. To be honest she was used to terrible situations and well finding herself in bad places, this felt like a dream and not reality. But somehow she thought nothing bad could ever come from this as the Sylvan Queen had the most peaceful aura she had ever felt. Bix thought “anyways I need a vacation, what could go wrong from napping”

Sunleth slowly drifted out to sleep as she nestled herself underneath the eldertree and Beatrix followed suit. She snuggled up to the Queen wrapped up in her Lagoon tail that was so fluffy and comfy and she couldn’t help but feel warm and nestled that her eyes drifted quickly into dreams.

Her dreams were so peaceful that she had never felt this harmonious before. It felt like she was on a cloud and all her worries had melted away. The floral fragrance filled her nose and helped her feel calm. This was the best vacation she had ever had and all it involved was napping away with one of the most known Elnin. Could this truly be the reality of the situation. She remained undisturbed as she slept soundly in cozy fur. While she was in a dreamland Bixy remained unaware of how her mana was being balanced and focused. For her it felt like she was some sort of heaven where nothing bad would ever happen to her and her dreams were full of flowers. She was just running around, dancing and throwing petals around. Maybe she had once done that as a child but this did not feel like a memory. But to her it did not matter as it made her stabilize her mana. Somehow she felt more clarity than she had ever. Her dreams of flowers and petals shifted to a different place. She then dreamt of Bellmoril and it’s beautiful autumn leaves. Golden yellow, soft oranges, bright reds and bright oranges. She also smelled the wet leaves as if she could taste the moist air. The warm lights of the city of Il’durahn passed through her vision and the smell of old books, manuscripts and wet ink filled her nose. Over time she had grown fond of those smells when she had at first been repulsed by them. At first when she had moved there everything was strange and different but over time everything became natural and homey to her. She wondered if she was smiling with her eyes closed because she felt so happy dreaming of home. It seemed strange but things felt clearer than ever to Bix. She no longer felt like she was worried about anything and she knew where she belonged. Maybe Faerindell had once been her home but now it was Bellmoril. She no longer had doubts. This is what she had needed a moment of clarity and to forget that sometimes bad things do happen in life but they do not define everything. Home is where she belonged alongside her mentor helping him with his studies amongst the old books, parchements and wet ink. There are some days she was full of dust and ink but to her she loved those days. Sure it stained her fur for some time but it always came out at some point. She was always pleased to learn about new and old things and the research was her favorite part. She always found wonder in those books just as her mentor did.

Slowly waking her from nap she stretched her small body and rubbed her little eyes. She smiled so brightly she wondered if sunshine emitted from her. Her mind was finally cleared and she couldn’t wait to head back home and have some warm stew with Jayce and a pat on the head like he always did. She thanked Sunleth for the beautiful nap but little did she really understand what it really did to her. Her mana had been balanced and focused and she had seen the clarity of where she belonged. Little did she know how much time had passed and how she napped next to the Queen. But she would never forget this encounter and she would forever remember her and her nice calm peaceful aura and her warm smile. Beatrix would be forever grateful to Sunleth.
