It was the season again upon the chilly evening in Faerindell. The once flowering trees are still barren, and the miasma is in full bloom, sadly. Bijoux is working on her first lantern with her dad, Argyle, at his accessory shop. “Just how are we suppose to do this again, daddy?” She groaned softly, trying to hold her floating pomu crystal before it moves away. “We are making a lantern. It’s like making a little floating home for your pomu until hibernation is over.” The elnin smiles at her and looks over at the tools and supplies to make her first lantern. “It’ll be somewhat like mine for Spade here, as you can see.” He looks up to the meticulous paper lantern that has colorful spades along with a wish for a prosperous business. “Ohhh…” “Mhm, but we can decorate it however you like.” “Oh yay!” Bijoux cheered happily as she moves over and sits on her little chair to see what to do.

Argyle made the square frame for her lantern, set it to one side, and her pomu crystal tied securely. “Alright, here are some paint for you and different colorful papers.” “Alright…” Bijoux nods her head, thinking about what her Pomu would like for their home. “What would Honeydew like…” Her little tongue sticks out as she paints flowers on pale green paper. They were different colors that she would find in Faerindell of pinks, yellows, and purple flowers, and long green vines. “What do you think, daddy?” Argyle looks over, and he smiles at how adorable her painting looks and nods his head in approval. “Very good! Now, you need to think of a nice wish for it and write it somewhere and write on it.” He then gives her a pencil, and she took it as she hums softly. “What do I wish…” In the end, she scribbled her wish which is to be the best flower farmer.

“That sounds great! I know you’ll be the best farmer.” He smiles at her, and helps put it together for her as he takes the papers and tapes them to the frame, and puts Honeydew crystal in the middle. “I want bows on it too daddy!” Bijoux piped up when she saw it coming together. “Ah yes! We need some little accessories.” With a nod of his head, he grabbed different colorful ribbons and cuts them seamlessly. He created little bows to tie at the four corners of her lantern and also a little silver bell. It was his way to know where she is. “And we are done! Let me tie this around your tail.” He grabbed the string that is tied to the lantern and wraps it around the base of her tail.

“Wooow! It looks so pretty!” Her bright red eyes sparkle in seeing the lantern and she has to go outside to see how it looks like. The bell gently jingles as she walks around the grass, and looks back in seeing the lantern floating behind her. “Let's go see our garden, Honeydew!” Around the backyard of the cute fairytale cottage where she lives, she has a couple of planter boxes where she is growing some flowers. It was her best project yet as the winter flowers are growing steadily. She checked the soil before going to bed and felt how it feels a little dry. “Just a tiny bit of water, and that’ll be okay!” Bijoux went to get her watering can but realized just how heavy it is without her pomu’s help. They would usually be the ones to carry it over, but now she has to do it. “Ngh! This.. is pretty heavy!” She strained as she ends up dragging the full watering can over and tries her best in watering the flower buds. Some of them ended up having a large drink of water, but she hoped they will be okay. “I didn’t know how much work Honeydew does for me…” Bijoux was still small, and so she relied on Honeydew to help carry things for her and move items. Even the plastic cover was difficult whenever the wind blows it off the planter box and she had to move fast.

Finally, she was done with her flower work even though it took her longer than she thought. Bijoux was out of breath and stares back in seeing the lantern. She frowns as she peeks underneath the opening and saw the glowing crystal and frowns. “Honeydew…. I really hope you’ll come back soon. It's not fun doing all the gardening by myself.” She has to ask her dad for help, and she doesn’t want to when Argyle has his shop to run. For now, it is bedtime as she went over to wash her paws clean, and heads inside with her little lantern bobbing behind her.
