Mahou knows one thing that is intrinsically related to Faerindell in the minds of both local and tourists – the trait that first comes to mind upon hearing the name of the relatively placid territory. That is, of course, the world renown flowers of Faerindell. Flowers that come in all manner of form, size, or color. Flowers that weight down the boughs, branches, bushes, and grass with their cloying scent and heavy petals. Flowers that seemingly cover every surface of Faerindell – that climb the windows with twisting vines, and flow from garden boxes and any space of free fertile earth in front of every home in the land. The flowers of Faerindell, if nothing else, truly give the land its character, for even if they did not climb up and down every home in anything from the smallest village to the most sprawling city, they are found everywhere in the wild. And is it these flowers that Mahou loves best – not the tame and orderly riot that clings to every wall, building, and garden – but the ones that roam wild and free, climbing over sweeping hills and clinging to the end of reaching tree branches. These flowers largely grow without rhyme or reason in all manner of colors – pale white, ivory, sky blue, deep blue, almost sapphire, yellow, red, violet, and deep purplish reds – all of them help add to the wonder that are the green of the grass and the pink of the leaves. However, ask anyone and they will tell you which are the king amongst the flowers – and those are the Faerie Shrouds of Faerindell. Growing wild, impossible to imitate, and shining with all the colors of the rainbow, where they fall delicately, their weigh making their heads point down in clumps, so that walking amongst them is like walking through heavy veils of petals.
