Kau'i has visited Faerindell many times before with his family.  He is very fond of the fresh produce grown in the region, enjoying long walks out along the countryside, strolling through rolling hills covered with acres upon acres of farmland. The smell of freshly tilled earth is amazing, and he loves when they pass through the quanit little town with their cobblestone street and small cottages. There are always small markets set up in the town square, all of the local farmers bringing their produce to sell. And with the amount of flowers that grow in the region, another popular ware sold at these markets are jars and jars of honey and fresh honey comb, which vary in flavor from town to town, each slightly different due to the different flowers that bloom. Kau'i LOVES honey, he has a sweet tooth, and he has spent too much alloawance on buying jars of honey from each town they pass through. He likes them all, but he has to admit that his favourite comes from the honey bees that feed upon the fairy shrouds of elenion. Oh how he loves to visit Elenion. The cheerful pink foliage of the trees is such a treat, made even more beautiful by the light of the rising sun peeking over the rolling hills of the surrounding country side. Kau'i can never get enough of the brightly colored Fairy Shrouds that hang from the lower branches of the many trees in Elenion. They come is so many colors, a kaleidescope of a rainbow festooning the branches of the town. Once again, the produce produced from the surrounding farms is of the highest quality, and Elenion is home to the largest market in the region, which takes up several blocks. Produce of all kinds can be bought here (Kau'i is particularly fond of the small skinny eggplants sold at one particular merchants stall, He's definitely talked Evenne into teaching him how to cook them in a myriad of ways.) The rest of his family is very fond of the flowers, with Kaia even gifting Kau'i with one of the ever fresh blooms she got from a local festival, a lily in bright reds and oranges.
