When asked what sort of gift she would like, Starling honestly wasn't too sure. There aren't many material things she desires, and of those things most could be easily found in her city of residence, Silveil. If she was completely honest with herself, she was truly at a loss. It was only when the kittom visited the market one day did she find out what it was she desired.

A traveller from from the far off land of Zevija had set up shop, his stand brimming with rocks and trinkets from Zevija's famous hot springs, volcanoes, and mines. There were volcanic rocks of all shapes and sizes, some still carrying the slightest scent of sulphur when examined closely, and even stones said to have been spewed from the deepest regions of the hot springs. Tiny bottles of hot spring water lined the shelves, with fanciful writings of the luck and health benefits one can (supposedly) obtain from them. Beyond all of that, however, was something Starling found far more interesting.

The gemstones. From royal blues to sunshine yellows, there laid an entire spectrum of radient gems. They had been mined from Zevija's numerous caves, some still in their raw natural state, while others had been fitted into various pieces of jewelry. They were unlike the refined, cut jewelry and gems one would often find In the city shops. These gems had a specialness, straight from Zevija, to them. In Starling's opinion, they were all quite simply breathtaking.

So what sort of gift does Starling want? Going home that day, Starling was happy to say she knew exactly what she wanted.
