Having spent most of her small kittom life in Silveil, Akilah always had a fascination and greater appreciation for all things glowing and shiny. The lights, the trinkets, the coin, and her most favorite of all and where she spent most of her time exploring; the bio-luminescent forests and ponds! Natural glow and shine has always been her favorite. Even keeping away from the main city you hear stories passed on from travelers and news spreads quickly in a bustling community. And the stories that grabbed her attention the most had been the land of Zevija with everyone's promise of gemstones and riches. And while a pretty cut stone that she'd never be able to afford as a young kittom would be nice to have, what really caught her attention was the land itself. Tellings of prismatic springs in a rainbow of colors, dangerous and forbidden to touch but a feast for the eyes nonetheless, caves with sparkling crystals and hanging rocks that create strange alien landscapes, mines lined with raw gemstones still maintaining their natural beauty. And best of all the underground cities and endless chasms to run through and explore with countless mysteries for a kittom to relish in.

Looking out the window of her home she let out a longing sigh. Maybe once the miasma passed she'll be able to go see it all for herself. She'd hang onto that thought throughout the entire season keeping the light burning bright in her heart.
