Hopefully these odd symptoms pass soon, no one likes a tail smaller than even a kittom's tail or an itchy bottom!

[SQ-SM-6] Purifying Evidence

Category: Special Quest

[Special Quest: Seeping Miasma] [Eligible: Kittom | Adult] — Show details for more info.

Details

Depict your elnin somewhere in the process of purifying a piece of shard evidence from a daeva's tracks. Shards are a dark purple hue with small white (or black) halos floating around them seen. After an elnin has found some evidence of a daeva there is a communal responsibility to ensure this evidence is disposed of safely. Disposal usually occurs at shrines located near the outskirts of major cities.

Elnin directly handling these shards can have some adverse side effects. Often causing an elnin to witness visions of space appearing to tear before them. Within these tears, a gray and dreary landscape corrupted by dark purple shards is revealed, much like scenery associated with Vahl D'sari or Dusk. To safely transport these shards elnin can use their pomu!

When handed a corrupted energy of shard, an elnin's pomu takes on a solid gray stone shape where the pomu is rendered temporarily immobile. In this form, an elnin can safely use their pomu to hold the shard to ward off further exposure to physically handling the shard itself. Once in this state, stone pomus are secured to their elnin in some way, either tucked safely in a bag, or secured onto the elnin with a rope or harness for transit.

While the elnin carries the shard with their stone pomu, they are not subject to these terrible visions. Once an elnin arrives at a shrine with their pomu, they must leave their stone pomu there for a day to finish the purification process of the shard. Purified shards are transparent or white and can be left on shrine altars. After the job is done, elnin are often witnessed treating their pomu to snacks and other favored items they picked up in town while their pomu helps with the purification process.

[SQ-BB-5] Brilliant Bottom

Category: Special Quest

[Special Quest: Bewildering Behind] [Eligible: Kittom | Adult] — Show details for more info.

Details

After becoming a little more well versed in the tail variety seen in Eyre, a little improvisation is necessary! What sort of materials can be mustered up to fashion one stunning tail? Depict your elnin fashioning some flourishes for their own tail out of various materials either entirely inorganic or a mix of both organic and inorganic items. These decorative changes made should be clearly fake though and affixed in some way. False tails can be worn either through a creative article of clothing that attaches near an elnin's waist or tail base.

Feel free to be creative. You can use materials like mud, beads, rope, fabric, sticks, feathers, and scales as long as the more organic creature-based materials like scales or feathers are attached in a clearly artificial way, like barrettes or beads that help braid the feather base or wrap around scales to help clip them to fluffy areas of fur.

Notables: An elnin's tail style should still be present beneath the false tail fashioned, so just be sure if you're braiding items in, the braids connect to fluff that already exists on an elnin's tail or connect via rope, and so on. No replacing tails with other known tail styles or stealing tails off other creatures. Please don't depict faux fur tails, you could maybe fashion grasses as an alternative to get a poofy tail of strands but nothing should look like a live animal's tail with these additions!

[SQ-CC-3] Artful Marks

Category: Special Quest

[Special Quest: Cobbled Crowns] [Eligible: Kittom | Adult] — Show details for more info.

Details

While imagery is not found in sigils across Eyre, contour lines and pictures were a starting point for practicing coordination with a brush. Eventually such artful marks led to the creation of Eyrescript and sigils that have depth and meaning. While sigils written on their own with a simple brush and ink may not have much power to them, as crowns they are beautiful creations that can translate to very simple spells. Depict your elnin practicing calligraphy to write Eyrescript, some vague written sigils that hold no magical power, or a drawing of something found in nature with only ink strokes. Think about how the experience might bring them more in tune with writing, language, ink mediums, and typography.
